1994年にリリースされコレクターの間でも高く取引され続けるDW-001通称JASONがG-001として待望の復刻。
その復刻モデルをどこよりも早くワールドフェイマスブランド”Stussy”が別注。
ただでさえ嬉しい復刻にStussyの遺伝子が注ぎ込まれ、至極のコラボレーションアイテムへと昇華した。
時計本体を裏蓋まで樹脂で包み込むカプセルタフのフェイスデザインがホラームービー『Friday the 13th』に登場するキャラクターに似ていることから、当時、“ ジェイソン”と呼ばれることとなる。
その個性的なフォルムを無彩色のモノトーンルックでミニマルに仕上げ、フェイスや裏蓋、ストラップにロゴネームを配置。さらに、同モデルでは今回が初となるELバックライト機能にロゴや文字が浮かび上がるスペシャル仕様も見逃せない。メタル製オリジナルBOX入りのリミテッド仕様。
The limited edition Stussy x Casio GShock G-001 “Jason” watch is an updated version of the classic DW-001 “Jason” model that was first released in 1994. This modern take features 100% resin case/bezel, 100% mineral glass face and 100% resin band with metal mesh inserts. Functions include digital timekeeping (world time, alarm, calendar, stop watch), shock resistant, 20Bar water resistant and EL illumination with lithium battery. Stussy highlights consist of Stussy logo on the face, SS Link logo when illuminated, Stussy “Limited Edition” script on the back, Stussy “BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL…” script on the Gshock band all wrapped up in a custom metal case with box.
